Some of my dear friends I made in Thailand and Cambodia last year have already embarked on the tour to Vietnam that I am going on in 23… yes 23 sleeps.

Of course, they are posting the most amazing photos on Facebook sharing their exploits, do I want to study these to let me know what we will be up to, or do I ignore them and wait till I go to see for myself?
I am looking at them with one eye, what have I surmised? We will go on a kayak, into caves, buy silly (yet amazing) coolie hats, watch breathtakingly beautiful sunsets, climb 1000s of steps….( thank you Kelly Rudderham for the borrow of the photo, till I take my own.)
Will make sure I have my inhaler or get a piggyback!
More to the point, I have noticed plenty of beer being drunk, at various spots, knowing my friends, it will be purely to replenish fluid into their bodies. Lots of laughter and firm friendships being created along the way.
Rang one of my fellow travellers Chris in Australia has seen the photos, to discuss our plans. I have come to the decision that I need to be a bit more prepared, she is almost packed, I haven’t even thought about what I am taking. Borrowed a couple of library books is as far as I have got to packing.
Better get my notepad and pen for the list
